A PGA member for over 20 years, Joey was awarded "Teacher of the Year" for the Southern California PGA in 1997. He has been a featured speaker and instructor for the Northern California PGA, Southern California PGA, and Mizuno Golf Japan.

Joey works with all levels of golfers from beginners to tour players.

Steve has worked closely with Joey Pickavance and the Systemgolf method of developing the golf swing. Steve's competitive experience, dedication to the game of golf, relentless pursuit of the perfect swing, and an on-going committment to developing as a golfer enable him to assist students in their own personal goals to cultivate their playing skills.

Steve is currently a mini-tour golf professional and a regular participant on various tours, playing in events throughout California and Arizona. He has competed in Canadian Tour events and works to hone his skills to pursue his goal of playing on the PGA Tour.

Titleist Certified Club Fitting 1 Hour
As a Certified Titleist Fittingworks Club Specialist, Steve will fit your swing to the appropriate set composition to best benefit your clubs to your body specifications, swing technique and game. A launch monitor will be used to fit golf equipment to your total game by analyzing ball speed, launch angle and spin rate. 1 hour.

Christie Quinn is an LPGA member and is currently enrolled in the PGA Apprentice Program. She has experience playing in several mini tours and high caliber amateur events around the country, including the Pepsi Tour, Michelob Ultra Tour, Hooter’s Tour and the U.S. Women’s Amateur. Her highlights include winning five Pepsi Tour events from 2006-2008, placing in the top 20 California Women’s Amateur in 2006 and 2007 and placing in the top 100 in the U.S. Women’s Amateur in 2006. Following her days playing competitive golf, Christie was the Assistant Golf Professional at Poppy Ridge where she began teaching in 2007.

“I am excited to team with Joey Pickvance,” said Christie. “Joey is a well-regarded professional in Northern California. I know our students will benefit from having a unified approach to instruction.”

As an instructor it is Christie’s goal to involve more families in the game of golf; and as part of this initiative she would like to broaden the acceptance of all golfers and all skill levels. Christie is available for private, junior and group instruction. She will also focus on designing programs for corporate clinics, tournament groups, women’s and junior schools and “grow the game” initiatives.
